This week Sherri and I had the honor of our family coming to see us. We enjoyed this time of visiting and seeing them again. Scripture tells me that one day all those in Christ will be reunited again. We will be able to see all our loved ones who have gone on before plus our family in Christ. We will get to see Peter, Paul, Noah, Abraham but most of all we get to see Jesus. What a wonderful and glorious day that will be.

Why did Jesus die? is a question that many have often asked or wondered about. I think there are many answers to this question. The first answer is because we had a huge sin debt and only His righteous blood could pay the price.Second reason was to save our souls from suffering the wrath of God in Hell. Third reason He died was so that we could have a relationship with God. The final reason that He died was so that we could walk in newness of life.
I would like for you to think about this!! Before Jesus took our place at Calvary there was no way for us to live a life that pleased God because we would always fall short. BUT now since Jesus has died and rose again, sin and death have no more power or control in our lives. Because of Jesus we can now live a life that pleases God.
Why did Jesus die? So that we ”..may have life and have it more abundantly” John 10:10.

The more one grows in his or her faith, I believe there are certain books of the Bible that they will hold dear. One of those books is Romans. Even though it can be confusing at times there are truths that just stand out.
We discover a truth in Romans 5:8, which says: ”But God demonstrates His own love toward us, in that while we were still sinners, Christ died for us”
The truth is that even though we do not deserve it, He sent His Son to die for us, thus paying our sin debt. Why did God do this, because He loved us.
God loves you today. Let me ask you a question: Have you accepted Jesus as your Savior and if you have accepted Him how long has it been since thanked God for loving you the way He did by sending His Son to die for you?
