This summer has not even gotten off to a good start yet and we are already facing very hot and dry weather. As hot as it is you would think that we were already in August. Most of our state is going through a drought with fires happening around. It looks as though it will be a long and hot summer. But the good news is this, we know that our God is still in control. No matter how hot it may get, no matter how long some of our cities and towns may go with out rain, He has it all in hands. I am reminded of that scripture where Paul was battling with his thorn in the flesh. Three times Paul asked God to remove it. In response the only thing God said was this, “My grace is sufficient for you, for my strength is made perfect in weakness.” (2 Corinthians 12:9) These same words that gave Apostle Paul hope can give us hope.
With all that is happening in our world, in our state or even in our lives, we can rest assure that God is always there. May we trust in His strength and grace to help us make it through those difficult and hot days.
Wishing you all a great week, love ya dearly
